What does an Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) do?
The ADRC is a trusted source of health and long-term support information for all persons regardless of age, income or disability and provides consumers with a seamless "one stop" system of services from point of entry to actually receiving the assistance they need.
How can the Link assist you?
Please contact any of the Core or Collaborative partners listed on this web page and our trained staff will refer you to the appropriate Link Partner.
Information and assistance on services will be provided for both private pay and publicly funded individuals.
Is there a fee for services that I may need?
There is no charge for assistance provided by the Fayette, Greene and Washington Counties Link to Aging and Disability Resources, however, some service provider agencies may charge fees.
We can inform you of funding options available regarding any service providers who may charge fee for service.
As I grow older, how may I live as independently as possible?
You and your family should learn about home and community-based services that are available to assist your needs and help you live as independently as possible for as long as possible.
What can I do to evaluate my future long-term living needs?
Explore existing long-term options by contacting local agencies for advice and counseling to ensure a secure plan for independence and to prevent any unnecessary crisis situations.
How do I know I will receive effective, dependable information?
The State of Pennsylvania chose the Core Partners, including the Area Agency on Aging, APPRISE and TRI County Patriots for Independent Living (TRIPIL), to ensure a strong base on which to build the Link program in Fayette, Greene and Washington Counties.
The Collaborative Partners were then added to enhance the program and bring additional expertise to the Link. The staff of these agencies represent years of experience and will be of great benefit to you as you determine your long-term living needs.
