Senior Employment Program

The Senior Community Service Employment Program provides employment training in part-time community service positions. 

Individuals work an average of 20 hours per week and are paid the minimum wage. They gain work experience at non-profit and public facilities, such as:

  • Schools
  • Hospitals
  • Day Care Centers
  • Senior Centers

Eligibility

  • A resident of Greene, Fayette, or Washington County
  • Aged 55 or older
  • Household income does not exceed 125% of the federal poverty guidelines

Once we receive the form, staff will call the person needing help to gather more information and start the process.
